Calvary was richly blessed when former  Bossier Parish School Superintendent Ken Kruithof came over to Cavalier country in 2009.Kruithof has more than 39 years of experience in the field of education. He began his career as a teacher and coach at Parkway High School before being named principal at Elm Grove Middle School in Bossier Parish. While superintendent in Bossier, he was instrumental in the construction of W.T. Lewis and Legacy elementary schools and the new campus of Parkway High School. One of Kruithof's personal mandates while serving as Superintendent in Bossier, was to personally visit each classroom during the school year. He earned his undergraduate degree in physical education and social studies and later obtained his M.Ed. and 30 graduate hours over his masters degree. His areas of certification include social studies, physical education, parish/city supervisor of instruction, principal, supervision of student teachers and superintendent of schools. |
